October 4th at 9:30 & 11:00 am

We are so excited to announce that our church is reopening the building for in-person worship on Sunday, October 4th at 9:30 and 11:00am!

Because we value your safety, we wanted to let you know about some measures we will be taking to work against spreading the Coronavirus as well as some changes that you will encounter when you arrive on campus.

60% capacity

At this time we are adhering to state guidelines for public worship and are working to limit attendance inside of the building to 60% of the fire code.

Entry and Exit

All congregants will be admitted into the building and seated by our hospitality team one group at a time. Because of this, no one will be admitted after the service starts. That means it is a good idea to arrive on campus about 15 minutes before your scheduled service is to begin, and to social distance 6ft apart from other groups in line as the markings on the sidewalk outside indicate. Once service is done, ushers will dismiss row by row. While you are free to congregate safely in the parking lot, we cannot allow fellowship time after the service in the lobby or sanctuary at this time.

Masks and Temperature Checks

In order to enter the building, every person (5 and up) will be required to wear a face mask and have their temperature checked before entry. If any member of a group has a temperature of 99.9 or above, the entire group will not be admitted. Adults will also be required to keep their masks on through the duration of the service in the sanctuary.

Child Care

Yes, Solid Ground Kids is going be open. To minimize contact, we are limiting shared items, eliminating snacks, and will have kids team members actively disinfecting surfaces and children’s hands throughout the service.

Extra Measures

All team members will be required to wear face masks on Sunday mornings. In addition to all of this we have new automatic hand sanitizer stations installed throughout the building, and will be sanitizing seats and surfaces between services. Our coffee bar will also not be serving beverages at this time.

Church Online

We want you to feel safe and comfortable in experiencing worship at SGC, and wish to reiterate that there is no shame in deciding to worship from home. If you are uncomfortable gathering in person at this time, our online campus will still be open. We invite you to join us on the internet for service LIVE on Sundays at 9:30am. Just go to and click the “click here for church online” banner to be admitted.

Sickness and High Risk

If you or any member of your family has had a fever of 99.9 or demonstrated cold/flu-like symptoms 2 weeks prior to attendance, we ask that you stay home and enjoy church online.

We also strongly encourage those who are considered high risk or who are in regular close contact with individuals considered to be high risk to stay home and experience church online. The CDC defines high risk individuals as including those with:

  • Cancer

  • Chronic Kidney Disease

  • Weakened Immune system

  • Obesity

  • Serious Heart conditions such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, or cardiomyopathies

  • Sickle cell disease

  • Type 2 diabetes mellitus

Should you or someone you are in regular contact with meet these criteria, we ask that you stay home and enjoy church online.
